Catherine, with her extensive background in fashion distribution and sales, and Niklas, with his creativity and experience in product design, form the duo behind Steele & Borough. Through our shared passion for design, details, and style, we strive to create timeless and functional bags while making a difference in the fashion world.

Since our start in 2015, we’ve crafted countless prototypes to arrive at the five core models we offer today. Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and a focus on functionality, we’ve created bags that blend sophistication and sportiness—perfect for both the office and weekend getaways. Every element of our bags, from the inner lining to the unique hexagon-shaped zipper pull, has been carefully designed with great attention to detail.

Our journey has taken us from a simple vision to an international presence, and we’re proud that our bags are now carried by people around the globe. In addition to our online store, we’re also featured in select Scandinavian department stores, boutiques and the hotel shop at Grand Hotel in Stockholm.
